Arts Gold Awards Exhibition 2015 - LAST DAYS!

The Arts Gold Awards Exhibition is a display of finalists who entered their work into the Arts Gold Awards. There was over 200 entries from which 50 artist were selected by the judges to go through as finalists.There is an amazing selection of art work to view ranging from painting, photography, sculpture and even video art.
The 2015 Arts Gold Awards winners are:
$5000 Art Excellence Award 2015 - Elton Irving
$3000 Central Otago Artist Awards - Eric Schusser
$1000 Merit Award - Justin Spiers
$1000 Merit Award - Brent Hollow
The Arts Gold exhibition is open to the public and entry is free. It is on until 29 November so come along to the Russell Henderson Art Gallery in Alexandra to see this wonderful display of the 50 finalists' work.
Vote for your favourite artist’s work to go into the draw to win 6 bottles of delicious Central Otago wine. By voting you are helping your artist win the $500 Viewer’s Choice Award. If you can't make the exhibition you can vote for the Viewer’s Choice online and be in the draw to win the wine also. The winner of the Viewer’s Choice Award and the yummy wine will be notified via our facebook page on Thurs 5 Dec.

The Arts Gold Awards are an initiative of the Central Otago District Arts Trust (CODAT) which aims to bring new and interesting art to Central Otago - art which will stimulate our audiences, which celebrates our diverse community and helps to shape the art opportunities for present and future visual artists of this region.
