Come and enjoy being taken on a musical journey through time in these Winter Weekend Concerts!

Imagine yourself in 18th century Italy listening to a beautiful Baroque oboe concerto, performed by our very own soloist Sinclair McLaren. From there, travel to the tumultuous start of the 19th century, to Vienna where Ludwig van Beethoven composed his renowned Symphony No 3 'Eroica', a landmark in the transition from the Classical to the Romantic Period in music. Find out what it is that connects Beethoven to the self-proclaimed Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte ... or perhaps what disconnects him...? Is it heroism? Is it love? Or both...???
