Fourteen years on since Wanaka’s first Rippon Festival, the much-loved event for the true music lovers of the nation returns on Saturday 4th February, 2012.  Run on a not-for-profit basis since 1997, Rippon 2012 features Kora, The Datsuns, Street Chant, Trinity Roots, Katchafire, Distasteradio, Orchestra of Spheres, Lord Echo, The Yoots, AHoriBuzz, Sunshine SoundSystem, and Colour Classic.  

So lovers of music, people, life, nature, magic and mayhem - start planning your summer journey cos you're the ones we want to see here at Rippon Vineyard next Waitangi Weekend. Whether you're a Rippon virgin or a die-hard veteran, be part of the magic that comes around every two years at Rippon Vineyard, Lake Wanaka.

TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE via TICKETEK and Pembroke Wines (Wanaka). 

There will be 400 FEWER tickets available to the public for the 2012 event. This is so we can assess the impact of the beautiful new Hall on the Rippon site, and continue to offer a safe, enjoyable day for festival-goers.

There are two types of tickets:

General: $132 + BF  

GoldMember: $220 + BF 

Goldmembers have access to the spanky-new Rippon Hall which offers fancy tiled bathrooms, and an indoor cash bar and cafe. There is an outside viewing are where you can see the stage. Definitely worth it if you prefer a finer festival experience! Very limited numbers.
