Underground Productions, who brought you “Rock & Roll Suicide” in October 2010, now brings you another outstanding smash hit SONGSTARS. It combine their love of live theatre and live music to create a truly original and special event.

SONGSTARS is an original artist’s competition with a bang! From extensive auditions twelve selected musical artist’s from the Wakatipu, Southland and Otago will be showcasing their original songs to an avid live audience who will then vote for their favourite performance, the most memorable song.

SONGSTARS is a completely unique experience; there is no other show like it in New Zealand. Think ‘X’ Factor and ‘The Eurovision Song Contest’ combined, SONGSTARS is a celebration of original New Zealand music. It is sure to become one of Queenstown and the South Island’s most popular events.
