The Wednesday Group is comprised of a number of painters who gather together once a week and tutored by artist and lecturer Megan Huffadine. Some of the members of this group have been working for a number of years, for others this is their first experience in painting. The upcoming exhibition showcases a range of painting approaches; expressive and vigorous works alongside deftly handled and delicately painted images. Subject matter includes portraits, landscapes, figurative and abstract works. The show is a celebration of their work, commitment and journey throughout the year.
The Cloakroom Gallery is Queenstown’s Community Gallery run by the Queentown Art Sociey.
