 Suitable for beginners and those wanting a comprehensive understanding of the nature of painting:Addresses the language of painting - line, tone, colour, texture, composition etc and through exercises and projects teachers how to construct, develop and think about painting. Different methods of paint application and support preparation are explored.

Shaun Burdon Dip FAAAn experienced and knowledgeable teacher,formerly Lecturer in Painting for the OtagoPolytechnic School of Art BFA programme inDunedin. Shaun has exhibited widely for 35 years andhis work is held in many private and public
