Mark’s fantastic talent has been seen in events large and small across Central Otago over the last 17 years. He was the first blind, Braille reading musician to gain a performance degree from Auckland University. Recognised as one of the finest pianists in New Zealand, Mark plays with grace and sensitivity, and can weave his own magic around any melody.
Mark Wilson will be performing a series of lunchtime concerts 'Mark Wilson and friends' on Thursday 17 May, Friday 15 June, Saturday 21 July.
The concerts start at 1 pm and last an hour. Cost $5 on the door, refreshments available for a small donation. At St Peter's Parish Church Hall, Church Street, Queenstown.
Music: Classical, Jazz, popular songs, performed on piano. With friends including Emma Wilson singing, and Pat Monaghan violinist. With support from 'Creative Queenstown' of the Central Lakes Trust.
