In 2012, Saxcess will celebrate its 20th anniversary, and will present a special programme illustrating the story of Adolphe Sax.
Saxcess made its debut in the Sydney Opera House at a concert staged by the Royal Australian Air Force to commemorate the battle of the Coral Sea.
In 1994 the group travelled to Belgium for a 3 week tour in conjunction with the 100thanniversary of the death of the founder of the Saxophone, Adolphe Sax.
With a mixture of jazz, classical and cutting edge contemporary, Saxcess performs its multi layered compositions with style and panache and has become in demand for festivals, music societies and concert halls around the country.
Saxcess plays at Cromwell on Saturday 30h June at 7.30pm. Tickets: Adults $25; Supergold $20; Student/ child $5; will be on sale from the Cromwell & Alexandra iSites.
