The exhibition is a debut for the two Wanaka artists who have previously exhibited together in South Island awards and competitions and other venues.
Exhibited will be intriguing abstract paintings on canvas by Robinson and a series of evocative oil paintings by Jones titled Brave Odyssey.
Though very different in approach the works are a result of the two artists’ strong ethic of working together to express their individual creativity. In different ways the paintings reflect the essence of Central Otago.
The Ceres Winery and Gallery in Bannockburn is a new venue for the thriving arts community in the Cromwell area.
It is run by Odelle Morshuis who founded the successful Hullabaloo Art Space - a cooperative art gallery in Cromwell Historic Precinct.
It combines wine and art - two outstanding features of Cromwell.
