A fabulous concert is on this coming Saturday night at the Cardrona Hall, starting at 8.00 p.m. Graham Wardrop has just returned from a month long tour of Canada, where he received standing ovations at many festivals across this vast country for his amazing guitar work and beautiful songs. Graham is a New Zealand icon and one of the most unrecognized musicians by the masses in New Zealand. He has performed on stage with some of the world’s most famous guitarists like Tommy Emanuel, but unlike most of them he also writes and sings the most beautiful songs. For those of us living in Central Otago who have heard him before, who could ever forget his stunning song about the Dunstan Range.
Please come along and support one of this country’s most amazing musicians / singer songwriters. Tickets are available at Pembroke Wines in Wanaka at $20 (cash only please) or phone (03) 443 8152 to reserve them for collection at the door on the night. At half time, Kay and Mary will have scones and cream, tea and coffee on sale to help fund the restoration of these lovely two historic buildings.
