  • Rangi Takō / Clear Skies - Alexandra

Rangi Takō / Clear Skies, a short film featuring breathtaking astro timelapse footage of Te Waipounamu's night skies in New Zealand's South Island, will be presented at Alexandra's Memorial Theatre on Saturday, June 22. The event includes a live performance of an original soundtrack by Liz Conway, marking the launch of Winterstellar 2024. Winners of this year's Astrophotography Competition will be announced on the evening.

While entry is complimentary, ticket reservation is necessary.

Donations are welcomed to support the Winterstellar Charitable Trust's efforts in educational outreach and the preservation of Central Otago's night skies.

You can get tickets at Central Stories Museum from June 10 until 3pm on June 22.
